Features / App lock and Privacy Display

Covered when you look away.

FirstHour locks itself when you step away, and keeps your pictures out of recent apps and screen recordings.

What it does

App lock

After the welcome pages, FirstHour asks for Face ID or Touch ID, or your iPhone passcode, when it starts and after 30 seconds away. Setting the clock back doesn't skip it.

Recent apps

When you switch apps, FirstHour shows a cover instead of your pictures. This is on by default.

Recording and mirroring

While your screen is recorded, mirrored or on AirPlay, pictures are hidden by default, and the Vault always locks.

Blur

Sensitive pictures stay blurred until you tap Show. You can change this in Settings or in Protect.
