Send a picture safely

For an ID a landlord asks for, a receipt for a seller, or a screenshot for a friend.

Step by step

1. Open the Share tab and tap Choose a picture.
2. Look at what FirstHour suggests. It covers recognized ID and card numbers, codes and account numbers.
3. Adjust the boxes. Add, move or remove any of them. Check the whole picture, not only the boxes.
4. Tap Send and choose where it goes from iPhone's share menu.

What the other person gets

A copy with the boxes burned in, and without the location or camera details hidden in the picture. Your original picture isn't changed.

Good to know

• It only suggests boxes where it found something, and it doesn't find faces.
• If FirstHour can't open a picture and you've given it limited access, add that picture to the ones it may see first.
