Make your first-hour plan
A few minutes now means you won't have to think about it later. All of this is in the Plan B tab.
Step by step
- Pick your providers. In Plan B, under Tips, tap See all 16 tips. Each tip below is in that list. Open Your accounts and hotlines and tick your network, e-wallets and banks. Only what you tick goes into your plan.
- Add your phone's details. In Tips, open Your phone's details. iPhone doesn't let apps read your IMEI or serial number, so copy them from iPhone's Settings › General › About.
- Check your Apple Account password. Step one of the plan needs it, so open Know your Apple Account password in Tips and make sure you know it.
- Read your plan. Under If it happens, open Your first-hour plan and read it through as if your phone had just gone missing.
- Get it off this phone. If your iPhone is stolen, so is the plan. In Tips, open Get your plan off this phone to send it to your helper, print a wallet card or email it to yourself.
The wallet card
A PDF with a card to cut out, fold and keep in your wallet. It has the first steps, each provider's first number, and your IMEI if you've saved it. Fill in the blanks by hand. If you ticked many providers, the last lines may not fit, so check the card before you cut it out. The full plan prints underneath.
Good to know
- The plan has your IMEI and the names of your network and banks, but no passwords or card numbers. Wherever you send it, a copy leaves your phone.
- Checked hotlines are built in for the Philippines and the US so far, and you can add your own anywhere. They're checked by hand and show the date they were read, so they can go out of date.
- When your plan changes, send it again. FirstHour reminds you, but can't confirm your helper received it.
